- Description
- The Department of Housing and Urban Development, Ginnie Mae Support Division, intends to negotiate a sole source, firm fixed price and labor hour contract with Navisite, 400 Minuteman Rd, Andover MA 01810. Navisite will provide hosting and data management services for Ginnie Mae for a base year and four yearly options. The requirement will provide 24 hour/7 day network center for approximately 85 Servers and 6.2 terabytes of information. Based on recent market research in accordance with FAR 10.002(2)(i), Navisite is the only responsible source that meets the minimum requirements of the Government that include a NIST certified tier 3 Managed Data Center with an infrastructure that meets FISMA, NIST and OMB requirements with redundant communication for telecommunications, VPN, COOP, hardware, software and licensing capabilities. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals, however interested parties may identify their capability to respond to this requirement by submitting capability statements to this office by 3:00PM EST, January 23, 2012. Any information submitted will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive acquisition. However, the decision to not compete this requirement is within the discretion of the Government.
