- The Bemidji Area Indian Health Service intends to contract using other than full and open competition for the following: Inventory Management System Period of performance: Base Year: 2/1/2012-1/31/2013 $11,616.00 Option Year 1: 2/1/2013-1/31/2014 $11,616.00 Option Year 2: 2/1/2014-1/31/2015 $12,780.00 Option Year 3: 2/1/2015-1/31/2016 $12,780.00 Option Year 4: 2/1/2016-1/31/2017 $14,064.00 Vendor: MORRIS SYSTEMS, INC. 5504 DEMOCRACY DR, STE 220 PLANO, TX 75024 The proposed contract action is for the Property and Supply Department at the Cass Lake Hospital, Cass Lake Minnesota. The service provides technical support, operating system and security updates. Ability to record patient daily charges with interface capability to billing system, create purchase and receiving orders that assist in keeping inventory current, generate pick lists by department to simplify the ordering and delivery process, create inventory count sheets for each asset and by location, generate a variety of reports such as stock reports, month-end reports, and purchase information. Morris Systems, Inc. is stated to be the only responsible vendor capable of serving the IHS Cass Lake Hospital. The procurement action allows for standardization of an inventory management system between the IHS Bemidji Area facilities White Earth, Cass Lake, and Red Lake Minnesota. One system allows for universal training, staff assistance can be provided at other locations during staffing shortages, technical support and efficiency of operations for the property and supply department. IHS Cass Lake Hospital has procured the equipment for the inventory management system with M-Systems. Prospective vendors may submit a notice of interest and capability in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action upon receipt of any responses shall be within the sole discretion of the Government.
