Description
Both USNS MERCY (T-AH 19) and USNS COMFORT (T-AH 20) require parts for Goulds 500 Ton Air Conditioning Systems and Goulds Auxiliary Diesel Generator Salt Water Cooling Pumps. Goulds ADG and AC SW Pumps - Quantity of 5 (Part #3410-V M Size 8X10-12) MOR 500 ADG and AC SW Pumps - Quantity of 2 (Part #3996 MT Size 4x6-13) ITT Corporation of Seneca Falls, New York (is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for USNS MERCY and USNS COMFORT 500 Ton Air Conditioning Systems and Auxiliary Diesel Generator Salt Water Cooling Pumps. The annual and periodic examinations, service, repairs and testing of all the 500 Ton Air Conditioning Systems and Auxiliary Diesel Generator are required by the U.S. Coast Guard, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Rules and MSC; ISM Code and shall comply with U.S. Federal Requirements. The specific pumps, parts and materials integrated into the build of the pumps are essential to minimize the corrosion, wear and maintenance costs of the pumps and systems they service. The completion of the repairs are essential to ship and mission readiness. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential small business sources prior to issuance of a solicitation. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. Please provide a response demonstrating your firm's experience in performing similar work. RESPONSES ARE DUE on FRIDAY, 27 January 27, 2012 by 2:00 AM Eastern Standard Time.
