- Description
- This action is to provide contractual labor and management to provide technical and administrative production support services on a Labor Hour basis for the 402d Electronics Maintenance Group, 402 EMXG/MXV, Robins Air Force Base (RAFB). Production support services includes depot avionics technical repair, engineering services, budget analysis support and continuous process improvement (CPI) services. All work requires frequent interaction with other Robins AFB organizations and work may be within a team setting with other government personnel or require individual effort. The contractor shall provide services in accordance with applicable Technical Data, Technical Orders (TOs), Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) and standard shop practices. Work may include, but may not be limited to, the following tasks: Diagnose/Restore Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), Test Measurement & Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) and special purpose test equipment to operational condition. Diagnose faults in the test stations and Test Program Sets (TPS) and take required repair actions to restore electronic units or test stations, multi-conductor cables and wiring harnesses to fully operational and serviceable status. The contractor shall review and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals in the performance of repair, troubleshooting, and technical analysis duties for reparable units and test stations. Work to be accomplished may require travel to other Government organizations, Contractor facilities, or other areas, as required by the Government. Estimated contract periods are as follows: Basic Period: 1 July 12 - 30 June 13, Option I: 1 July 13 - 30 June 14, Option II: 1 July 14 - 30 June 2015, Option III: 1 July 15 - 30 June 16, Option IV: 1 July 16 - 30 June 17. This acquisition is being offered for competition limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. Eligibility to participate may be restricted to firms in either the developmental stage or the developmental and transitional stages. Interested 8(a) firms are encouraged to request a copy of the solicitation as expeditiously as possible since the solicitation will be issued without further notice.
