- The subject requirement is for the acquisition of NSN 6650-01-302-7685 with a full and open drawing set. The proposed procurement of an item within the Federal Supply Class of 6650. The requirement will result in the award of a Firm Fixed Price contract. The procurement will be in accordance with FAR Part 15. The solicitation will be available in FEDBIZOPPSon or about February 6, 2012 with an anticipated award date of March 21, 2012 at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside under full and open competition after the exclusion of sources. Periscope, Tank NSN 6650-01-302-7685 FOB Destination Unit of Issue: Each Requesting delivery of 150 days All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, quotation, or proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
