- Description
- Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas has a requirement for a Performance Based Service whose purpose is to demolish abandoned airfield pavements. The contractor is to furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, transportation, and all other incidentals necessary to complete the work outlined in this Statement of Objectives (SOO) and to turn over to the Government a complete reclaimed/established area graded to prevent all forms of standing water. The period of performance is 107 calendar days, 65 days for submittals, review, material ordering and approval of Airfield Waivers, 21 days for demolition and 21 days for grass establishment. A single NTP will be issued for this work. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 562910. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation will be posted on or around 20 Jan 12. Funds are not currently available for this solicitation. Award of contract as a result of this solicitation is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment of this contract may be made. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government for contract purposes until funds are made available to the contracting officer. The contracting officer will confirm availability of funds in writing to the contractor upon award of contract. Project solicitation should request valid offers through 30 Sep 2012 and must be awardable NLT 31 Jul 2012.
