- The material being procured is a quantity of 125 ea Housing, Machine Gun, NSN 1005 01 365 7913 in accordance with Drawing 19200 11830811 and all current related data. Delivery is to be within 405 days to various stock locations, FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp after the issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical drawings/bid sets are available. Based on market researh this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer. The solicitation contains a 100% Option which may be exercised at a later date at the discretion of the Government. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of 24 Jan 12.
