- Description
- DLA Aviation Richmond, intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for a Laser Cutting Machine for use at the Defense Logistics Agency, Mechanicsburg, PA. The machine will be used for the production of parts that will be used for the rebuilding of industrial plant equipment. The acquisition will include the base machine, upgrades, accessories, software, installation, and training. The anticipated performance period is 200 days. A complete technical data package will be available with the solicitation which is expected to open on 1/24/12. The anticipated closing date is 2/14/12. QAP 208 is applicable for the requirement. Offers will be evaluated based on a lowest-priced, technically-acceptable basis. The award will be made as a firm, fixed-price contract. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Origin. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted, which is estimated to be on or about January 24, 2012.
