- Description
- The intention of this solicitation is to procure continuous LP Propane Gas Services to the Federal Correctional Institution in Three Rivers, TX. This will include the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) and the Satellite Prison Camp which include all buidlings associated within the institutional property. Potential contractor must strictly comply with all Texas Railroad Ccommission Rultes and Regulations for LP Propane gas including all state, federal and local regulations for a safe gas service. Institution is approximately 7 miles west of Three Rivers, TX. The Total insmae population is approximately 1500 with approximately 320 staff members. The estimated annual usage of LP Propane Gas is 144,000 gallons per year under normal conditions. Currently, there is a total of one 5000 gallon tank and one 1000 gallon tank on site that are supplying the institution with LP Propane Gas. These tanks are on site at the Fedearl Correctional Institution property. These tanks are not owned by the FCI. The existing propane tank storage area is located approximately 650 feet from the Powerhouse, where the propane gas systems are then split and distributed to the Federal Correctional Institution and the Satellite Prison Camp. This storage tnak areas is secured by a 50' X 50' X 6' fenced in area. The existing system is a two stage vapor system and contractor must provide same system that is currently in place.
