- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of on-site Dialysis and Nephrology Services for the Federal Correctional Complex located in Butner, North Carolina. It is the intent of the Government to make a single award to an offeror who can provide all services and equipment as specified in the solicitation. FCC Butner currently houses approximately 40 inmates with End Stage Renal Disease. The estimated quantities for each contract year are as follows: Hemodialysis - estimated 6,240 treatments per year. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive offers providing all listed outputs. The solicitation will be made available on or about February 1, 2012 and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of proposals is March 15, 2012. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Faith-based and community-based organizations can submit offers equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
