- Pesticide Project for TribesTraining on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) for Schools, Developing and Implementing (IPM) in school plans for Tribes located in US EPA Region 9. The Contractor shall train tribes (including two tribal colleges in US EPA Region 9) on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) principles, common pest problems, IPM practices (including pest monitoring and control), and how to develop and implement IPM Plans for schools. The contractor shall use his/her experience and knowledge to identify an optimal location for training and lodging in Arizona, California and Nevada for tribes located within those states. Contractor shall consider and present to US EPA, Region 9 a proposed and final agenda for the training, including classroom and field components, and a description of how agenda will be accomplished. The contractor shall register attendees, track training attendance and reimburse attendees for eligible expenses. Contractor shall work with US EPA, Region 9 to select one or two interested tribes, assess pest problems in their communities, develop and implement IPM Plans in Schools and provide technical assistance if necessary. The Contractor shall provide labor, equipment, materials in order to perform the work within the Attached Statement of Work. Please see Attached Statement of Work. Period of Performance: Date of Award to December 31, 2013. The Contractor shall submit a workplan, not to exceed ten (10) pages, in response to this RFQ, with the price proposal. The attached Invoicing Instructions and applicable contract clauses are made part of this solicitation. All Questions are due by Friday,January 20, 2012, 9:00 a.m. PST. All Price Proposals are due by Monday, February 13, 2012, 9:00 a.m. PST.
