- Brand Name Justification This Performance Work Statement (PWS) objective is to provide the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics with a total turnkey solution in the furnishing, installing, and testing of a new Avaya telephone system with voice mail, provide on-site training to end-users of the system, and extend a 150-pair feed cable from the 9 th floor Telco closet to the 9 th floor Computer room. The feed cable will be a distance of approximately 200 feet. This procurement will be a brand name (Avaya) and a brand name justification will be posted for review only in Fed Biz Opps. The Avaya system is widely available and several Connections II contractors supply the product requirement.
