- Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Hardware (ITES-3H) Industry Day This notice serves as official notification of the ITES-3H Industry Day session. Date: 01 February 2012 Time: 0900-1200 EST Registration: 0830-0900 EST Location: Miller Operations Center - 9351 Chapek Rd, Building 1458, Fort Belvoir, VA 22060 Companies planning to attend must RSVP via email to the Points of Contact (POCs) below no later than 1300 EST, 18 January 2012. Companies may bring up to two (2) representatives. Company representatives shall be US Citizens. Registration email must include: -Name(s)/Title(s) of Attendees -Company Name -Phone Number -Email address -Certification that Company Representative attendee is a US Citizen Note: ONLY PREREGISTERED ATTENDEES SHALL BE ADMITTED TO INDUSTRY DAY. Due to extensive construction on Fort Belvoir including rolling closures and variances concerning in-processing time at the main gate, please allow sufficient time for processing to preclude tardiness. The Government appreciates your interest in the ITES-3H Industry Day. The ITES-3H Industry Day session will follow the principles identified in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.201, "Exchanges With Industry Before Receipt of Proposals." The objective of ITES-3H Industry Day is to provide a better understanding of the Army's mission, objectives, constraints, and technical environment so that prospective offerors and their team members may determine whether they are able to satisfy the Army's requirements. Industry Day will begin with briefings by the Computer Hardware, Enterprise Software and Solutions (CHESS) Product Leader, the Army Contracting Command - Rock Island, Contracting Officer, and the Technical Integration Center Lead. A question and answer (Q&A) session will follow the briefings. The questions posed during the Q&A should not be related to the Source Selection Team, their roles, or responsibilities. Note: Advance questions are not permitted. Only questions presented at Industry Day shall be answered. The Government assumes no responsibility for any representation made by any of its officers or agents during the session. Questions received and Government responses furnished during the session are unofficial. Government representatives have been instructed to answer to the best of their ability and knowledge. The Government will not be recording the session. However, the Government will be taking notes to assure that any questions requiring "official" answers have been properly documented. The requirements and strategy as stated during this session are all subject to change as the acquisition evolves; therefore the companies shall rely on the Final RFP. The Government looks forward to meeting with you and assisting you as you develop unique solutions to our important challenges. Additional Information: -Parking is available to visitors in the parking lot north of Building 1458. -Address is 9351 Chapek Rd, Bldg 1458, Ft. Belvoir, VA. Building 1458 is the only building on that road. -The Government will not reimburse company representatives for any costs incurred to attend the ITES-3H Industry Day. -All attendees shall be US Citizens. -There is limited space available for participants, therefore, space will be reserved on a first come-first serve basis based on receipt of email registrations. The Government will respond to company registration requests with confirmation of space being reserved or not available. -All attendees shall have a valid US drivers license. The driver of any vehicle shall have the appropriate rental papers, insurance documents, and vehicle registration. Building 1458 is located in grid C3 of the map. -Visitors are required to enter the base through the Tulley Gate entrance, located off of Virginia Route 1. -Visitors are required to enter Building 1458 through the front door. -No photo, audio, or video equipment is allowed in the building. -No video or audio recording will be permitted. -Cell phones and pagers shall be turned OFF while in the Industry Day room. -No food or drink is allowed in the Industry Day room. -Only preregistered attendees shall be admitted to Industry Day. -In the event of inclement weather or an emergency, please follow the guidance provided by OPM www.opm.gov and/or Ft.
