- Contracting Office Address Department of the Air Force, Air Force Space Command, 50 CONTRACTING SQUADRON, 210 Falcon Parkway STE 2116, Schriever AFB, CO, 80912-2116, UNITED STATES Description This is a sources sought synopsis announcement; a market survey for information only. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this synopsis. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potentially qualified sources; please do not request a copy of a solicitation, as one does not exist at this time. Air Force Space Command at Schriever AFB, CO seeks potential Small Business sources capable of providing the following item: All management, tools, parts, equipment, and labor necessary to maintain and repair the elevators, escalators, and vertical lifts on Schriever AFB and Fort Carson Army Installations (28 total lifts). The anticipated period of performance is 1Apr12 thru 30Sep12 with four 1-year option periods. Large Businesses need not reply. We are aware that there are large businesses that can provide these services. Therefore, the Government is seeking interested Small Businesses to furnish the following information: (1) Company name, address, point of contact, telephone number and e-mail address. (2) Business size under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 333921 Elevators, passenger & freight, manufacturing. (3)Under which NAICS does your company usually provide supplies identified above? Please include the rationale for your answer. (4) Which of the following would you see as your role in the performance of this potential requirement? (a) Prime contractor; (b) Subcontractor; or (c) Other, and please describe. (5) Type of contract will be Firm-fixed price (FFP). (6) Provide no more than three (3) references for no more than three (3) of the most recent and relevant contracts performed within the last three (3) years. Include name, address, telephone number and e-mail address of references. Also, provide a brief description of the work performed, contract number, total contract value and period of performance. Contracts must be the same or similar to this requirement. (7) Please comment and make recommendations of the optimum length of the total contract performance period based on your experience with contracts of this nature.
