- NOTICE OF DECISION TO CONTRACT WITH A SINGLE-SOURCE: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on behalf of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration (RITA), Transportation Safety Institute (TSI) proposes to acquire by single source acquisition, services for development, revision, and instruction of transit bus collision investigation, safety/security, and emergency management courses/seminars. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, intends to award a Contract to Robert F. Lower of Mustang, OK (DUNS 024431384). This procurement is considered to be single-source based on the unique qualifications and specialized expertise. The proposed type of contract is an Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract with a base plus four option years. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal.
