- PR 0043868933. This solicitation will contain NSN 8140-01-593-3819, Shipping and Storage Container Cover. This NSN is a noncommercial, 3/C item. Current approved source is PARKER-HANNIFIN CORPORATION (18565), P/N 13658034. This solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing other than full and open competitive procedures. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-12-R-0350, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The purchase request quantity is 131 Each. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation and the Joint Services Critical Item Data Viewer on December 7, 2011. Government First Article Testing (FAT) is required. A sample of 1 each is to be tested. FAT is to be forwarded to: DODAAC: W31P0W SHIP TO: Transportation Officer, Building 8022 FORWARD TO: Charles Eakes Redstone Test Center, Bldg 4500 Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898 The requested delivery is as follows: FAT 90 days ARO, Government evaluation 90 days, production after FAT approval 120 days. The total delivery is 300 days ARO. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Small Business Subcontracting plan is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on December 23, 2011. The solicitation issue date is January 9, 2012. The closing date is February 8, 2012. The estimated award date is March 21, 2012.
