- Description
- The project includes but is not limited to the following work: The contractor shall provide all Management, Supervision, Labor, Materials, Supplies, Repair Parts, Tools and Equipment, including Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of all Fire Protection Systems. Contractor shall Plan, Schedule, Coordinate and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in the contract to include: Electrical Systems and Equipment/Mechanical Plumbing, Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) where applicable/Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC)/Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems and Equipment/Architectural and Structural Systems, Fixtures and Equipment within the site/Service Request Desk Operations/Maintenance of Landscape Irrigation Systems and Replacement Parts/Door Locks and Keys/All Control Systems. In addition to the above requirements, the Government seeks to award a contract to a firm who employs an Experienced Working Supervisor with the following Qualifications: Thorough knowledge of HVAC theory, systems equipment and maintenance/Completion of a HVAC Certificate-Diploma program OR Associates Degree in HVAC OR equivalent Mechanical/Technical Degree (Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Systems Maintenance Technician (SMT) designation preferred)/Minimum of (7) years experience in building operations, engineering and equipment and systems maintenance/EPA and State of Wisconsin Certification/License for Refrigerant Handling is Required /Experience in handling Multiple Projects and making Decisions/Knowledge and understanding of Blueprints/Strong Customer Service, Communication and Computer Skills/Experience in utilizing both Standard and Power Tools/Professionalism in manner, dress and demeanor. The project location is the Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse, 517 E. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI. This is a full and open competition procurement and is open to all business concerns. Small business concerns, including HUBZone, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, disadvantaged and women-owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 with a Small Business Size Standard of $14 million. This is a negotiated best value procurement and is being solicited as a 36-month Base contract with the Government having the unilateral right to extend the services for two additional 12-month Option periods. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000 for a 12-month period. The solicitation will be posted on or about January 9, 2012.
