- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Seattle, Washington intends to establish one or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA) to provide animal feed and bedding for the SVAMC Research Department located at 1660 S Columbian Way, Seattle, Washington 98108-1597. The Government is seeking to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a vendor who will compete for BPA Calls and can demonstrate capability of providing feed and bedding in accordance with the attached statement of work. The Government intends to enter into a BPA for a five-year period. Pricing will be updated annually. A price schedule for the first year is attached. Responses will not be accepted after 5:00PM PST on January 9, 2012. Any vendor desiring to be considered for BPA award must submit their company's capabilities to meet the attached Scope of Work and proposed pricing schedule electronically to jacob.jackson2@va.gov. POC: Jacob Jackson (360) 816-2781. No telephone requests for information are accepted; all requests shall be done in writing. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 311119. All quantities shown in the schedule are estimated. Therefore, there is no guarantee, stated or implied, as to the actual quantities that will be purchased under this contract. See terms and Conditions VAAR 852.216-70, Estimated Quantities (APR 1984). In accordance with FAR 12.101, the animal Feed and Bedding Supplies requested in this solicitation are commercial item supplies. These supplies were formerly being purchased from a commercial contractor prior to issuing this solicitation. See attached document SOW FEED AND BEDDING.
