- DECEMBER 23, 2011 This is a Presolicitation Update only and not a Solicitation or Request for Offer (RFO) Notice is hereby given that the FAA anticipates that a Screening Information Request (SIR) Request for Offer (RFO) will issued in January 2012. When a SIR/RFO is issued, it will be publicly announced on the FAA's Contract Opportunities web page located at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm. It is the potential Offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any SIR regarding this procurement. All communication must be directed to the Primary Contracting Officer John Gamble with a courtesy copy to the Alternate Contracting Officer Tye White at the following e-mail addresses: John.Gamble@faa.gov and Tye.L.White@faa.gov. ________________________________________________________________________________NOVEMBER 4, 2011 This Request for Information (RFI) is for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Enterprise Messaging System (EMS) through a Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. The notice is being posted as a draft Screening Information Request (SIR) in accordance with the FAA's Acquisition Management System (AMS), Section 3.2.1.3.8: Pre-Release of Documents. Interested sources are encouraged to review the attached documents and submit questions/comments/feedback electronically to the Primary Contracting Officer John Gamble with a courtesy copy to the Alternate Contracting Officer Tye White no later than by 2:00pm on November 18, 2011 at the following e-mail addresses: John.Gamble@faa.gov, and Tye.L.White@faa.gov. The questions and/or comments should specifically reference the section, page number / requirement number. The FAA is not liable for costs associated with a response to this presolicitation release. This is not a request for competitive proposals and will not result in a contract award. No collect calls or telephone inquiries will be accepted. No solicitation exists.
