The port engineer is Fred Soriano (Cell: (619) 865-1787, alfredo.soriano@navy.mil ). The closing date and time for the solicitation is 13 January 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. Email your quotes to mary.ablola@navy.mil. The Military Sealift Command Ship Support Unit San Diego has a requirement for the upcoming voyage repair availability of the USNS ZEUS (T-ARC 7). This procurement and the services required under N40443-12-T-0056, is set aside for small business qualified Marine Industry contractors. Services will be performed while the USNS ZEUS is located in San Diego. The period of performance for this requirement is anticipated to start on/about 26 Janurary 2012 for a period of thirty five (35) days. RAPIDGate is in effect for base access. See page 8 of the solicitation for more info on EPIC and RAPIDGate. Any questions regarding base or ship access or respective forms shall be directed to the Port Engineer. Government Furnished Information-Technical Data (GFI-TD) referenced but not enclosed with this RFP are available via CD or PDF attachment upon request. Requestors shall submit their request to the Contracting Officer and provide their company name, point-of-contact, address and phone number, and shall indicate if data will be forwarded to subcontractors.
