- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT TO THE SYNOPSIS IS TO CHANGE THE ITEM DETERMINATION FROM NON COMMERCIAL TO COMMERCIAL. AS SUCH, CERTIFIED COST AND PRICING DATA WILL NO LONGER BE REQUIRED. ALL OTHER INFORMATION REMAINS UNCHANGED. PR 0044052150. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-12-R-0326, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract for NSN 5855-01-246-8266, Headset Assembly. This NSN is a part numbered item and the approved source is CAGE 0B107, P/N A3144268. Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing Other than Full and Open Competitive procedures. The purchase request quantity is 32534 each. A 100% Quantity Option applies. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery is 110 DARO. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on December 01, 2011. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Small Business Subcontracting Plan is required as the dollar threshold has been met. Certified Cost or Pricing data is NOT required as this is a commercial item. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on December 14,2011. The solicitation issue date is December 27, 2011. The closing date is January 28,2012. The estimated award date is March 16, 2012.
