Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, W912K6-12-Q-1007, is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-53. This procurement is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 721110 and the small business size standard for this NAICS Code is $7.0 Million. The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) has a requirement for a lodging facility within the Annapolis-Baltimore, Maryland area to support the MDARNG Family Readiness Strong Bonds Events during fiscal year 2012. The facility shall provide lodging, meals, break packages, parking, conference/meeting rooms and internet service for Strong Bonds Events in accordance with attached statement of work. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor's Registration (www.ccr.gov) to be considered for award. All quotes/responses must be received no later than 5:00 P.M., Eastern Time, 22 December 2011. The following evaluation factors will be considered: Price, Location of Contractor Facility, Technical Capability and Past Performance. The Government intends to evaluate quotations/offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors (except clarifications as described in FAR 15.306(a)). The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary. STATEMENT OF WORK & GENERAL INFORMATION VARIOUS STRONG BONDS EVENTS - FISCAL YEAR 2012 The Maryland Army National Guard (MDARNG) requires a 3-4 Star Hotel, Resort or Retreat to provide lodging, meals, snack packages, meeting/conference rooms, parking and internet service in support of the Strong Bonds Program during Fiscal Year 2012 (01 October 2011 through 30 September 2012. Location of Facility must be in the Annapolis-Baltimore, Maryland vicinity with local attractions and family friendly night life/community. Please note that representatives from the Maryland Air National Guard (MDANG) may attend some of these Strong Bonds Events. The require size of meeting/conference rooms, as indicated below, are based on the possibility of other attendees from the MDANG organization. Any representatives from the MDANG planning to attend the Strong Bonds Events, as listed below, will be completed by separate contract and shall not be included in this proposal submission. Events and requirements as follows: Dates:27-29 January 2012 - Strong Bonds Healthy Families Event 23-25 March 2012 - Strong Bonds Healthy Families Event Check In on Friday, Depart on Sunday by 12:00 Noon Rooms for Each Event: 34 Doubles and 1 Single. Some rooms should be adjoining to allow for any attending children Conference/Meeting Rooms Required (27-29 January 2012): Three (3). One (1) Room to hold approximately 70-80 attendees and two (2) rooms to hold approximately 20 attendees. Rooms should be in same location (on one floor) during the course of event. Conference/Meeting Rooms Required (23-25 March 2012): Three (3). One (1) Room to hold approximately 100-120 attendees and two (2) rooms to hold approximately 30 attendees. Rooms should be in same location (on one floor) during the course of event. Approximate number of MDARNG attendees for each event: 75 Meals: Saturday & Sunday, Breakfast Buffet; Saturday, Lunch Buffet Breaks: Saturday Morning: Assorted Fruit, Yogurts, Granola Bars Saturday Afternoon: Sodas, Water, Snacks, e.g., cookies, pretzels, brownies, etc. Beverages: Saturday & Sunday Morning: Coffee (Regular & Decaf), Juices Dates:17-19 February 2012 - Strong Bonds Triple Play 27-29 April 2012 - Strong Bonds Triple Play 27-29 July 2012 - Strong Bonds Triple Play Check In on Friday, Depart on Sunday by 12:00 Noon Rooms for Each Event: 45 Doubles and 32 Singles. Some rooms should be adjoining to allow for any attending children. Conference/Meeting Rooms Required: Three (3). Two (2) to hold approximately 65-70 attendees and one (1) to hold approximately 45 Attendees. Round Table Format for all rooms. Rooms should be in the same location (on one floor) during the course of event.
