- Network Contracting Activity 8 is seeking responsible sources to provide Point to Point Private Line Metro E Services. This connection must be compatible with Cisco Catalyst 6000 switch technology. Circuits must be 100Mps (Hard Wire) Private Metro E Network. Vendor must provide 24x7x365 remote status monitoring and technical support via Vendor Staffed and Operated Network Operation Center. Dispatch repair response and onsite technical support will be provide within one hour during weekdays and two hours on weekends and holidays. Scope of Work: The contractor shall provide PnP Metro E Services at a rate of 100MBps between the following locations: 619 S Marion Ave., Lake City Fl. 32025 to 1435 US Hwy 90 West, Lake City Fl. 32055. 1607 St. James Court, Tallahassee, Fl. 32308 to 1615 Mahan Center Dr., Tallahassee, Fl. 32308. Performance Period: The Contractor must provide service from October 1, 2011 thru October 1, 2012 with an option of additional three years. THIS NOTICE IS FOR PLANNING PURPOSES AND A SOLICITATION IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. This synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources relative to NAICS Code 517911. Responses will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, HUB-Zone Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business, are encouraged to respond.
