- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for a Contractor to Replace a Rooftop Package Curb Mounted Unit serving Bldg 240 at The Naval Research Laboratory, Washington D.C. It shall include, but not limited to the following: Disconnect existing piping and electrical connections from the package unit to be replaced, prepare unit to be lifted from roof by crane. Note: This unit is located on a high portion of the building and location of crane will be critical. A jobsite visit shall be required. Contractor is responsible for the removal of the unit from NRL Property and proper disposal. Note: this unit contains refrigerant R-22. The replacement unit will connect to the central control and monitoring system. This system is the Apogee System by Siemens. Reconnection of the electrical service and piping from existing utilities, and proper condensate drainage of cooling coil drain pan shall be required. (Microsoft IE required). Additional specifications and opening and closing dates will appear in the RFQ. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Supply and Information Services Division website http://supply.nrl.navy.mil. This requirement will be available for downloading the 16 th day after publication of this synopsis. Prior to this date you will not be able to access this solicitation. Note all offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in the DOD(s) Central Contractor Registration database.
