- RFI Cold Weather Boot The Air Force Uniform Office (AFUO ) is currently gathering information from industry in order to gauge the market place, state of technology and availability of cold weather boots that meet performance requirements. The intent is to provide a daily wear boot for aircrew members that will provide protection during emergency egress in arctic conditions.
