- Description
- Cuba - La Cueva is located approximately 14 kilometers Northwest of La Cueva, New Mexico in the Santa Fe National Forest, Sandoval County, New Mexico. The project will consist of grading, drainage, aggregate base, and asphalt surfacing of 2.060 miles of roadway. Principal work items include 4,000 tons of asphalt pavement, 9,200 tons of aggregate base, 930 square meters of mechanically stabilized earth wall, 750 square meters of rockery, 24,600 cubic meters of embankment construction, 13,100 cubic meters of unclassified borrow, and 250 meters of pipe culvert. It is anticipated that this project will be advertised in early January, 2012 with construction ending early November, 2012. Estimated cost for the base schedule and option is $5.0 to $7.0 million.
