The solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR part 14 (Sealed Bidding) and part 36 (Construction) and will be evaluated with procedures therein. This solicitation will be advertised as a Total HUBZone Business Set Aside. The Bidder shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to prepare the area identified in the drawing and specifications to receive the Government furnished and Installed Equipment. The work shall include, but is not limited to, floor preparation, demolition and removal of one (1) exhaust duct and housekeeping pad, removal and infill of two (2) equipment pits, and electrical work. In accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and prospective HUBZone firms must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov, prior to award. The bidders must also have a current record in the Online Representations & Certifications Application (ORCA) website located at, https://orca.bpn.gov No hard copies of the solicitation or drawings will be provided; you have access to them at this free site; https://www.fbo.gov/, once the solicitation is posted. All amendments issued to this solicitation will ONLY be available on the FBO website; https://www.fbo.gov/. The NAICS Code is: 236210, The Standard size is: $33.5 million and The Project Magnitude is: $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Contract Completion Time will be thirty (30) Calendar Days. Sixty (60) calendar day bid acceptance period will be required. Bid bond, Payment and Performance bonds will be required. A site visit may be scheduled by contacting Mr. Robert Cargile, at 817-847-3614. This site visit is not mandatory; however, all potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. This will be the only site visit held. There will be no response to any other request for site visits. This will serve as the perfect opportunity for contractors to fully understand the project, as there will be representative(s) from engineering, contracting and the program office in attendance. Electronic or phone requests will not be accepted, nor will electronic proposals. Bidders are advised that it is your responsibility to review and monitor the FBO website frequently to ensure you have the most up to date information, including amendments. All correspondence in reference to the solicitation contents or general questions must be addressed in writing on company letterhead, containing a point of contact, the solicitation number, email address, phone and fax numbers and must be addressed to the contracting officer listed. All potential bidders must be registered in www.ccr.gov to do business with the Government and must have completed online Representations and Certifications at http://orca.bpn.gov. Ensure your registration is correct, current, and has not expired. All Bidders must submit with their DUNS Number and/or Cage Number with their bid.
