- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION MUST BE DIRECTED TO Shane Jackson, Contracting Officer, via email shane.d.jackson@us.army.mil, or Fax 256-955-9237. No telephone requests will be accepted. NOUN: Waveguide Window; PRON: D12H4621D1, NSN: 5985-01-166-1905, PN: 10272598, Quantity: 32 each applicable to the Patriot Weapon System (D6). F.O.B. Destination with delivery to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Required delivery is 32 each, 85 Days After Contract Award (DACA). This item is restricted to Continental Microwave and Tool Co. (Cage Code: 66544), because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Standard Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. This acquisition contains technical data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export control Act (title 22, USC., Sec 2751 et sew) or the Export Administration Act (title 50, USC., App 2401-2402) Executive Order 121470. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government.
