- Description
- Required tasks may include, but are not limited to, modernization, qualification, and engineering support services for an EGI (to meet multiple platform requirements). The Prime Mission Equipment (PME) shall be an EGI in a single Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) that meets the requirements as defined in each platform Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS). As required by individual delivery order, the contractor shall evaluate and demonstrate the EGI equipment by conducting engineering evaluation tests, demonstrations, analyses, and inspections and by supporting flight line and flight tests to verify compliance with all contractual requirements. The contractor shall determine the number and allocation of units necessary for contractor testing as defined in Section 4 of each Prime Item Development Specification (PIDS). The contractor shall develop and document test procedures for the evaluation of all hardware and software. The contractor shall submit complete documentation (e.g. test plans/procedures and test results) of any previous testing which he feels may satisfy test requirements of Section 4 of the PIDS for government review. The EGI equipment shall undergo both contractor conducted and government conducted testing to verify compliance with each PIDS.
