- The Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk VA, intends to negotiate a single firm fixed price contract with Kamatics Corporation in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5. The purpose of this acquisition is to obtain supplies on behalf of Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA), 9170 Second Street, Suite 241, Norfolk, VA 23511. The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with ONLY ONE SOURCE under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The reference number assigned to this requirement is N0018912TGM01. The Government intends to procure two types of Kamatics Corp bearings in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 6878937 and 6878938; 40 ea. Kamatics P/N KSC416356V and 20 ea. Kamatics P/N KSC416460V. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for these requirements is 332991 with a Size Standard of 750 employees. The corresponding Federal Supply Code (FSC) is 3110.
