- Description
- The THAAD Instructional Facilities project is a Design-Bid-Build project. Which means the design has already been completed and this solicitation will procure the construction portion of the requirement only. This facility will be constructed at FT. Sill Army depot, Lawton, OK. The construction magintude of this project is from $25,000,000 to $100,000,000 dollars. The project consists of the construction of a 97,720 SF Automated-Aided Instructional Facility Building. The facility will include Classrooms XXI, Office and Instructors areas, maintenance training bay, systems maintenance area, communications room, safe room and outdoor training area. The project shall include Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) installations, connection to Energy Monitoring and Control Systems (EMCS) and Building Information Systems (BIM). The facility will have a separate site location for a remote field training area. The project shall require LEED certification. Supporting facilities include utilities and connections, electric service, information systems, security lighting, fire protection and alarm systems, rainwater harvesting system, concrete hardstand areas, concrete tank trail, asphalt private owned vehicle parking area, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, fencing and landscaping.
