- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought notice for the identification of potential vendors to provide subsistence items to the Virginia Army National Guard. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classifications relative to NAICS 424410 General Line Grocery Merchant Wholesalers. The Contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, transportation, and packaging of unprepared subsistence items for delivery to units in the Virginia Army National Guard at approximately 47 locations throughout the state. The award will be for one base period of twelve (12) months from date of award, with four (4) one-year option periods. A firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract may be issued with a delivery performance period of 31 March 2012 through 30 March 2013. The solicitation package may be available on or about 15 January 2012. All interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, DUNS number, list of available products, the geographic location the respondent is able to service. Responses to this notice should be sent via US mail to the attention of Ms. Susan Quinn, Contract Specialist, USPFO-ACQ, Building 316, Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA 23824 or via email to susan.quinn@us.army.mil. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received in writing no later than 3:00 p.m., Tuesday 3 January 2012.
