Description

The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Mission Contracting Office (MCO) Fort Dix NJ is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) in an effort to perform market research to assist in determining the acquisition strategy for Direct Procurement Method for packing, containerization, local drayage, delivery, unpacking, storage, and related services for personal property shipments (Schedules I, II & III) for Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia. This RFI is to identify potential contractors for this requirement and ascertain whether interested companies have a recent (within the past 12 months of this RFI) DD Form 1811, Pre-Award Survey of Contractor's/Carrier's Facilities and Equipment. This RFI is for planning purposes only. No solicitation document exists at this time. Issuance of this notice does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Government to procure these items or to issue a solicitation. In addition, the Government is under no obligation to pay for information submitted in response to this RFI, and responses to this notice cannot be accepted as offers. Any information that the vendor considers proprietary should be clearly marked as such. Responses to this RFI should not exceed five (5) pages and must contain the following information: Your company's business size, using NAICS code 484210 business size $25.5m as the benchmark, capability statement and a response to whether your company has a recent DD Form 1811. Further, attached are copies of the draft performance work statement and DD Form 1811. Responses and Questions to this RFI shall be submitted by 4 January 2012 to Claudia.m.adams.civ@mail.mil. Only e-mail submittals will be accepted.
