IT WILL BE SOLICITED AS A NEW PROCUREMENT BY THE RED RIVER ARMY DEPOT, TEXARKANA, TX. TIMEFRAME IS UNKNOWN. THE POC IS DON MURRAY, TEL: 903-334-2280 ********************************************************** DLA Aviation, intends to issue an unrestricted solicitation for services and supplies required to replace an industrial cooling tower at Red River Army Depot, Texarkana, TX. The work will include demolition, new foundation work, installation, testing and training. The anticipated completion date of the project is April 2012. A complete technical data package will be available with the solicitation which is expected to open on 5/15/11. The anticipated closing date is 6/15/11. Interested parties are encouraged to participate in the site visit, the date of which will be announced with the solicitation. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing, construction, demolition, start-up and training. QAP 208 is applicable for this requirement. Offers will be evaluated based on a combination of technical acceptability, price and past performance. The award will be made as a firm fixed price contract. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP. FOB at Destination and Inspection/Acceptance at Destination. This is a pre-solicitation notice only. The solicitation details (including the technical requirements) will NOT be available until the official solicitation is posted, which is estimated to be on or about May 15, 2009. Inquiries concerning project details will not be answered prior to the official opening date.
