- Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Amendment # 1 RFQ 12--412783 The purpose of this amendment is to respond to questions received about the solicitation. QUESTION AND ANSWER Q1) Can you please explain this statement. Is this contract for maintenance services? If not, I how can you cull the competition to a 50 mile radius? I could sell the ATV and you can still get service somewhere else. "All interested vendors must also have the ability to provide routine maintenance and repairs at a location within a 50 mile radius of customer. Clarksburg, VA 26306" A1) This contract is not for maintenance services but is for the purchase of ATV's. This statement is just clarifying that all vendors must have the ability to provide routine maintenance and repairs locally. Thus, most companies have a maintenance agreement with local dealers to provide the routine maintenance on equipment sold. Q2) I won't be able to view the vehicles for trade on this solicitation. Is there a condition report or any photos on these units? A2) We do not have photos or condition report of the units - this RFQ states that interested vendors are required to provide trade-in value and suggests/prefers interested vendors assess the value of the trade-in by personally inspecting them. This is not required and a contact person is given. Vendor shall acknowledge receipt of this amendment on each copy of the offer submitted
