- Notice of Intent to Sole Source The 341st Contracting Squadron, Malmstrom AFB, MT intends to negotiate with General Trades & Services, Inc.(GTS), for the the extension of Military Housing Maintenance services for up to three months in accordance with (IAW) FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This procurement is a continuation of the existing Military Family Housing Maintenance operations to ensure continuity of service while a protest to privatize Military Family Housing is resolved. GTS and their local subcontractor, Madison Services, currently provides the Malmstrom Family Housing Maintenance service and is the only responsible source that can immediately satisfy the Government's requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of quotes or offers received in response to this notice. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561210. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to meet this requirement by 22 December 2011. Additionally, any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. No reimbursement for any costs connected with providing capability information will be provided.
