- All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS should be submitted in writing to the following E-Mail address: Punnie.Chittchang@usace.army.mil. This Acquisition shall be competed as a 100% small business set-aside requirement. This synopsis is for the purpose of a pre-solicitation notification only. The US Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District intends to issue solicitation number W912BV-12-T-0011 to provide janitorial services to Canton Lake, Canton, Oklahoma. Janitorial Services for this requirement include cleaning/washing interior heated areas, restrooms, interior work and storage areas, exterior areas, refuse disposal and other additional work requirements at facilities to include the project office, shop building, overlook and contiguous exterior areas of Canton Lake, Canton, Oklahoma. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract for the period of 1 February 2012 - 31 January 2013. The contract will also include four (4), one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the purview of the government. A pre-conference meeting/site visit is scheduled for 9 a.m.CST, Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Canton Lake Office to familiarize potential bidders with the general conditions of the performance site. Attendance is not mandatory but encouraged. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this program is 561720, a Classification Code of S201, and a business size standard of $16.5 million. The Government will award a contract resulting from the subsequent solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is conforming to the requirements of the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government considering price. This solicitation will be issued via Internet only on FebBizOpps Website at http://www.fbo.gov. Notification of amendments shall be made via FebBizOpps only. It is the contractors' responsibility to check the above-listed internet address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation. No corrections and/or changes to proposals will be allowed after the proposal submittal due time and date. Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about the estimated date of December 16, 2011. Quotations are anticipated to be due on or about January 20, 2012. Contractors must be registered and current with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), in order to receive a Government contract award.
