Description

The Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Minneapolis and St. Cloud have requirement to provide all necessary labor, facilities, pick-up and delivery services, set-up and disassembly, repairs, storage, inventory management of VA-Owned Durable Medical Equipment/Accessories (DME) for VA Minneapolis and St. Cloud Medical Center beneficiaries. Each Offerror must have a regular established firm in the business called for, who are financially responsible, and able to show evidence of their reliability, ability, experience, facilities and personnel directly employed by them to render prompt and satisfactory service. Contractors that can meet the requirements of the RFP are requested to take into consideration the complexity and extent of the services to be performed. The period of performance will be for an initial base period from February 1, 2012, or date of award if later, through January 31, 2013 to include four (4) one-year option periods that the Government may or may not exercised. This procurement is been set aside 100% for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 621610 with a business size standard of $13.5 M. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 15, 2011 with a due date of January 12, by 3:00 pm Central Standard time. This solicitation will be available in electronic format ONLY; dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA WILL NOT PROVIDE HARD COPIES. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at the following Government Point of entry http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation number for this acquisition is VA-263-11-RP-0583; any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advice that they are responsible for review, monitor and download this solicitation and any other related documentation posted in the above mentioned website; to ensure that they have the most updated information about this acquisition. Questions regarding this solicitation shall be submitted IN WRITING at the following e-mail address socary.rodriguez2@va.gov on or before December 27, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
