- Detailed RFI CDC is seeking to identify sources that have the capability and qualifications to perform activities to support the Immunization Safety Office's Vaccine Safety Datalink Project (VSD). VSD complements other federal vaccine safety activities. The VSD project was established in 1990 and is currently a collaboration among CDC, America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP), and ten managed care organizations. This Request for Information (RFI) does not commit the Government to award a contract on the basis of responses, nor otherwise pay for the preparation of any information submitted or CDC's use of such information. Responses will be separated from, and have no bearing on subsequent evaluations of proposal submitted in response to any resulting formal RFP. The Government's current strategy is to award a five year multiple source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with individual health plans. The applicable Small Business North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this type of work is 541990 - All Other Professional, Scientific and Technical Services, $7M revenues. All respondants must indicate their business size (small, large, other) based on this NAICS code in their response.
