- This special notice is issued by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project, Coolidge, Arizona that the agency intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price purchase order pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 to Mt. Turnbull Sanitation (tribal government & tribally owned firm) in an estimated amount of $55,000 ($11,000 base year in addition to $11,000 per year for option years one through four). The general description of services is stated as follows: Mt. Turnbull Sanitation will be the service provider to install and setup refuse containers and dumpsters and provide weekly trash collection services for the San Carlos Irrigation Project's San Carlos Field Office and Coolidge Dam Facilities. Services will be provided through the entire federal government fiscal year. Mt. Turnbull Sanitation is the only sanitation service provider on the San Carlos Apache Tribe reservation that serves the SCIP San Carlos Field Office and Coolidge Dam regions. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be issued however all responses received within 10 calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely with the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no affirmative responses are received within 10 calendar days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the government, the award will be issued to Mt. Turnbull Sanitation. Responses must be received by 1:30pm Arizona Time on December 23, 2011. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: The site location is at the San Carlos and Coolidge Dam Field Offices on the reservation, San Carlos, AZ 85550. Point of Contact: Gary A.
