- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis of a proposed contracting action in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.210. This is a request for proposals and no response will be made to requests for solicitation documents. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about 15 December 2011 and will be posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at http://www.fbo.gov. Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center - Fort Bragg has a requirement to repair the marqee at bldg. 1-1202 on Fort Bragg. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, tools, supervision, engineering and other items necessary to complete this work. The acquisition service is being set aside for total small businesses. The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price (FFP), contract as a result of this solicitation, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220. Solicitation W91247-12-T-0001 will be issued on or about 16 December 2011. The magnitude of the construction project is between $25,000 and $100,000. All offers shall be provided as specified in the solicitation. A notification will be issued on the Army Single Face Industry (AFSI) website at https://acquisition.army.mil/afsi. No paper copies will be provided. Site visit for this requirement will be 20 December 2011 at 1000 EST. Meeting location will be at bldg. 2-1105, stack C, Fort Bragg, NC 28310. Prospective offerors interested in submitting an offer on this solicitation must have a commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code and are reminded in accordance with DFARS Clause 252.204-7004, Alternate A; Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (Sept 2007). Inactive registration on the CCR database will make a prospective offeror ineligible for award consideration. The website address for the CCR registration is http://ccr.gov.
