- Description
- This is a Pre solicitation Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote or Invitation for Bid. DLA Troop Support anticipates the award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for the manufacture and delivery of MILITARY COTS, FOLDING, ALUMINUM FRAME, NSN 7105-00-935-0422, which are made I/A/W military specification SPEC NR AA-C-571H. The anticipated Request For proposal will be posted on or around January 9, 2012. The contract base period may be for a term of one year or two years. This will be a Best Value buy with tradeoffs. Furthermore, the solicitation may contain an option or options to extend the term of the contract for a total of five years. Pricing for the base year(s) will be provided up front by the contractor, and the option periods will be linked to a Producer Price Index which would be adjusted annually or to an EPA clause. Support of this item will be based on DLA Direct Deliveries; the material would be shipped to either the New Cumberland, PA or Tracy, CA. DLA stock distribution locations, and/or Customer Direct Deliveries, where the material is delivered to DLA customers throughout the United States. The acquisition is 100% Set-Aside for Small Business. The estimated dollar value is $47, 000,000.00 over the five year period. The item description is fully competitive and will be available during the open period of the solicitation. Copies of the RFP will be available on DLA Internet Bid Broad System DIBBS at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by DLA Troop Support. Applicable Numbered Note: 26.
