- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to The National Steel Bridge Alliance for support at the World Steel Bridge Symposium in Grapevine, Texas on April 18 and 19, 2012. This meeting is designed to stimulate, facilitate and promote the adoption of new and improved procedures, guidelines for the design, construction and quality control of steel Bridges. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The proposed action is for equipment which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $22,000; the anticipated award date is January, 2012.
