- The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs intends to lease approximately 4,000 square feet of first/ground-floor office space in the area of: "Delineated Area: in Evanston, IL "West Boundary: Ashbury "North Boundary: Central "East Boundary: Hinman "South Boundary: Howard No other areas will be considered for the clinic. "Space must be ADA compliant. "A minimum of 15 on-site parking spaces is required. "Space must be accessible by public transportation. "Space must be available for occupancy by October 01, 2012. "A market survey, including an appraisal of properties offered for lease will be conducted by the VA. "Interested parties should respond to Michael Chester, Contracting Officer, no later than 12:00 PM, Friday, January 06, 2012. "Responses, including a description that the property meets the minimum space/parking requirements above, a photo of the building, general layout of the space offered, location of the space and approximate SF cost, should be mailed to: Specialized Contracts Team Great Lakes Acquisition Center 115 S. 84th St., Suite 101 Milwaukee WI 53214 "Alternatively, the information above may be sent electronically (preferred method) to: michael.chester3@va.gov by the closing date. If sent electronically, it is advised that a read receipt is requested by the respondent. "Respondents are advised that the VA assumes no responsibility to award a lease based on the responses to this advertisement. NOTE: The Government is limited by law (40 USC 278a, as Amended 10-1-81) to pay no more than the appraised fair rental value for space. This advertisement is not a Solicitation for Offers (SFO), nor is it a Request for Lease Proposal (RLP). An SFO or RLP may be issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs at a later date.
