- Sources Sought: This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking qualified Business responses in order to determine if Small Business and/or other socioeconomic (8a/HubZone/SDVOSB) set aside actions are applicable for this acquisition. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center Ft Dix, NJ intends to procure ECS supplies for an M081 asphalt mixing plant. Attached is a list of required equipment. The designated NAICS Code is 423690, with a small business size standard of 100E. Your response shall include the following information: socioeconomic status of company (i.e., 8(a), HUBZONE, WOSB, Veteran Owned, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, etc.), company CAGE code, and delivery times. A quote IS NOT requested at this time. Responses shall be emailed to Lorraine.m.carruba.civ@mail.mil no later than (NLT) 1:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, 15 December 2011. Any questions shall be directed to Lorraine Carruba, Contract Specialist, via email at Lorraine.m.carruba.civ@mail.mil IF A SOLICITATION IS ISSUED IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED AT A LATER DATE IN A SEPARATE ANNOUNCEMENT, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. It is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the site frequently for any updates and amendments to any and all documents. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. Additionally, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.204-8, Annual Representations and Certifications, offerors are also reminded to register with Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at https://orca.bpn.gov. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement.
