- Description
- In accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) anticipates awarding a modification to existing Occupational Health contract SP3300-11-C-1012 on a sole source basis to Corky Hull Medical Associates to provide industrial hygiene services for approximately 1,700 civilian employees, approximately 20 active duty military personnel, and approximately 64 facility and equipment maintenance employees for a seven (7) month period (1 January 2012 -31 July 2012). Due to unanticipated acquisition process delays, it has become necessary to modify existing contract SP3300-11-C-1012 to allow for uninterrupted industrial hygiene services through July 31 2012. Pursuant to the exception under FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii), only Corky Hull Associates is capable of providing the services at this time; award to any other source will result in unacceptable delays and cause a disruption to San Joaquin activities. The modification to current contract SP3100-07-C-0019 will serve as a temporary solution to fulfill immediate mission requirements.
