- NASA/KSC is hereby soliciting information about potential sources for supportservices in various functional areas of NASA Kennedy Space Center (KSC) which include butare not limited to clerical support, financial management support, personnel programactivity, employee development and training, employee benefits, personnel actionprocessing, procurement administration and analyst support, business systems support,public affairs publication creation, media services coordination, transcription andrecords management. The Contractor shall monitor the work activity and provide suchoversight and supervision of its personnel as may be required to provide an acceptablelevel of administrative support for NASA KSC.The work requires a practical knowledge of specialized personnel methods, regulations, orprinciples to perform technical work that is typically transactional and notcontroversial.No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If asolicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA AcquisitionInternet Service. It is the potential offerors responsibility to monitor these sites forthe release of any solicitation or synopsis.Interested offerors/vendors having the required specialized capabilities to meet orexceed the above requirements should submit a capability statement of two pages or lessindicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort described herein. Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) point of contact(name, telephone number, and email address); (3) size of business; (4) average annualrevenue for past 3 years and number of employees; (5) whether they are large, small,small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned; (6) number of years in business;(7) affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, potential teamingpartners; (8) list a minimum of two customers covering the past five years (highlightrelevant work performed, contract numbers, contract type, dollar value of eachprocurement, number of employees and customer point of contact address and phonenumber).Please advise if the requirement is considered to be a commercial or commercial-typeproduct. A commercial item is defined in FAR 2.101.This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as acommitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited.Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemedfully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement. TheGovernment reserves the right to consider a small business or set-asides based onresponses hereto. All responses/comments shall be submitted to donald.wood@nasa.gov nolater than 01/08/2012, via electronic transmission or by facsimile transmission.
