- Web-Based Collection of Databases - Amended This is a notice of intent by the Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC), 2199 Storage Street, Suite 68, Fort Sam Houston, Texas 78234-5074, to issue a renewal subscription of web-based collection of databases for clinicians and researchers provides authoritative information that is evidence-based, consensus-based, and peer-reviewed source for complementary and alternative therapies. This information resource is especially critical due to patients' increased usage of dietary supplements, herbs, and vitamins and potential adverse interaction with their prescribed medications. This information is impartial, based on a comprehensive review of the scientific evidence and expert opinions. It is then incorporated into comprehensive monographs designated to facilitate clinical decision making. All monographs undergo blinded editorial and peer review prior to inclusion into this products databases. This requirement is for Internet/Web/PDA access for the medical treatment facilities and medical libraries at several locations. The NAICS code is 519130. The solicitation will be issued as a total small business set-aside on or about 18 May 2011. Period of Performance for 12 months base + 4 one-year options.
