- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD), intends to award on a sole-source basis to Integrated Consulting Services, Inc. dba Integrated Combat Systems, 130 Rochester DR, Louisville, KY 40214-2600 to purchase two (2) Signal Data Converters. The SDC Prototype shall be comprised of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) components to meet functional requirements. The SDC Prototype shall be a VME 64-bit backplane with 8 to 10 slots, air cooled, high pressure fans, aluminum chassis that includes custom I/O wiring harnesses as well as military harnesses and military receptacle connectors. The contractor shall cross reference the Government Furnished Assembly in accordance with the attached Statement of Work (SOW). Substitution of any other similar system by any other manufacturer for these applications is not considered to be in the best interest of the Government with regard to configuration, performance and cost. FOB Destination to Dahlgren, VA shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized in accordance with FAR Part 13. The North American industry Classification System Code is 334119, with a size standard of 1000 employees. The closing date is 29 December 2011. The anticipated award date is 04 January 2012. All responsible parties may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.
