- **Site Visit scheduled for 07 Dec 2011 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m PST Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Please fill out the attached Visitor's Pre-Announcement Notification form for each attendee not to exceed two (2) and submit to Judith Sackett at judith.sackett@edwards.af.mil., no later than noon PST on 06 Dec 2011. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base. Open Competition - Combined synopsis/solicitation - FA9300-12-R-5001. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). Quotations will be evaluated based on lowest price technically acceptable. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-54 and DFARs Publication Notice (DPN) 20111102. Federal Supply Class/Service (FSC) code is 5836. NAICS is 334220 and the size standard is 750 employees. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business set-aside. AFFTC Contracting, Edwards Air Force Base, CA is seeking to purchase the following commodity: CLIN 0001: One (1) each Secure Video Teleconferencing System; including all equipment, cable, connectors, hardware, cable support, terminal blocks, rack hardware, etc., to insure a complete and operational system. See Statement of Work for minimum salient characteristics. CLIN 0002: One (1) job Install and configure Secure Video Teleconferencing System. CLIN 0003: One (1) each (option 1) RJ-45 port for computer network connection in accordance with SOW section III, 3. Interested parties who believe they can meet all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit in writing a complete quote including delivery FOB destination (Air Force Research Laboratory, Edwards AFB, CA 93524) and unit pricing for CLIN 0001 and 0002 per above. Delivery will be required within 10 weeks after receipt of order. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this synopsis per the attached Statement of Work.
